The Starry Night by Van Gogh

About This Puzzle

• Piece together one of the world's most celebrated paintings: Vincent van Gogh's The Starry Night, a classic for art lovers and Van Gogh admirers.

Swirling stars, a radiant crescent moon and flowing currents of blue and gold dance above a peaceful village, with a towering cypress in the foreground. Van Gogh painted it in June 1889 at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, combining the view from his window with an imagined village. Surprisingly, he considered it less successful than some of his other works.
