The Church at Auvers (1890) – Vincent van Gogh

About This Puzzle

• Van Gogh's The Church at Auvers, one of his final and most moving works, as a challenging wooden puzzle full of colour and movement.

Painted in June 1890 in Auvers-sur-Oise, in the last weeks of his life, the village church rises beneath a swirling cobalt sky in vivid blues, greens and warm gold, with winding paths curving around it. Van Gogh had once hoped to be a preacher, and churches carried deep meaning in his work. The original hangs in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
