Kartikeya

About This Puzzle

• Lord Kartikeya (Murugan, Skanda, Subrahmanya) on his sacred peacock, in an original painting by South African artist Ashley Munsamy, created especially for this Soul Puzzles design.

Seated on the peacock Paravani, whose emerald and sapphire plumage forms a natural halo, Kartikeya wears a jewelled crown, flower garlands and robes of gold, saffron, rose and crimson. Beside him stand the sacred Vel, the divine spear bestowed by Goddess Parvati, and his victory banner with its rooster emblem, symbols of wisdom, courage and spiritual victory. The flowing feathers and intricate jewellery make for a rewarding build, revealing new detail with every piece.

• • 55 pieces, cup-shaped
