Starry Night Over the Rhone by Van Gogh

About This Puzzle

• Van Gogh's Starry Night Over the Rhône in a cup-shaped puzzle with the words "you're a star": a little piece of one of his most enchanting night scenes.

Painted in Arles in September 1888, it shows the Rhône beneath a deep blue sky of brilliant stars, the town's gaslights spilling golden reflections across the water while two figures stroll the bank. Van Gogh believed night held colours richer than daylight. Of a night walk he wrote: "It was not cheerful, it was not sad – it was beautiful." The original is in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
