Kartikeya by Ashley Munsamy

About This Puzzle

Lord Kartikeya on his peacock, from an original painting by South African artist Ashley Munsamy created especially for this Soul Puzzles design: a radiant piece for devotees, collectors of spiritual art and puzzle lovers alike.

Kartikeya (Murugan, Skanda, Subrahmanya) sits upon his sacred peacock mount, Paravani, whose emerald and sapphire plumage forms a natural halo. Crowned, garlanded and robed in gold, saffron, rose and crimson, he offers a gesture of blessing beside the sacred Vel, while his rooster banner stands for victory, courage and protection. Peacock eyes, jewellery and garlands give rewarding focal points throughout the build.
