Bernadette Soubirous

About This Puzzle

• A gentle, easy puzzle honouring Saint Bernadette Soubirous and the pilgrimage at the Grotto of Lourdes: a meaningful gift for the faithful.

In soft, vintage-style earth tones, Bernadette is shown in prayerful contemplation, holding a crucifix and rosary. In 1858 she reported 18 apparitions of a lady in the grotto of Massabielle, who named herself "the Immaculate Conception"; a spring rose where Bernadette dug, and Lourdes became one of the world's great pilgrimage sites. Questioned by officials, she said simply: "I am charged with telling you, not with making you believe."
