Venice

About This Puzzle

• Olga Suvorova's Venice (2017) as a 1000-piece luxury puzzle: put on your finest and gather family and friends to piece it together.

Suvorova (Russian, b. 1966) comes from a family of artists and studied monumental composition at the St Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts. Her lavish works centre on the commedia dell'arte, in a style influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites, Gustav Klimt and traditional Russian icons. Ornate costumes of silks, velvets, jewels and embroideries are the stars, joined by musical instruments, flowers and animals: a lush tapestry, delicate in feeling but full of boisterous colour.
